For some fans, the San Antonio Spurs’ thrilling Game 7 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder was hardly a surprise. After all, the corgi saw it coming.

Air Corgi, a dog who predicts sports outcomes by acrobatically tapping balls into baskets, started going viral for her predictions for the Western Conference Finals after the picks aligned with the final results. With the Spurs’ win on Saturday, Air Corgi’s predictions have officially come true: a perfect seven-for-seven.

As she does with all major playoff series, Air Corgi had seven chances to guess the outcomes of each of the seven games. In order, the dog predicted all of the wins correctly: Spurs (Game 1), Thunder (Game 2), Thunder (Game 3), Spurs (Game 4), Thunder (Game 5), Spurs (Game 6) and the Spurs rounding out the series victory in Game 7.

The corgi, whose name is Lilo, has an Instagram page full of predictions for all sorts of sports. Lilo’s predictions and athletic skills have earned her various sports-themed nicknames, including Steph Furry and Fluffy Mamba.

Lilo’s owner, Denny Ku, told San Antonio’s WOAI that Lilo’s accuracy rate hovers around 70%, though it depends on the sport.

As the series started coming to a close, Spurs fans embraced the corgi’s predictions as proof of the team’s upcoming wins. One fan present at Game 6 in San Antonio went viral for a large sign with Lilo’s face, reading: “Trust in Corgi.”

Whether or not you credit Air Corgi or series MVP Victor Wembanyama with sending the Spurs to the NBA Finals is up to you. But either way, there will be fans of the Spurs and the New York Knicks waiting with bated breath to see what the fuzzy forecaster will predict next.
