The San Antonio Spurs will be without Victor Wembanyama for a few weeks.
Wembanyama is dealing with a left calf strain, an MRI confirmed on Monday afternoon. Though the Spurs did not provide a timeline for his return, ESPN's Shams Charania reported that he will miss "a few weeks" recovering. Further specifics of his injury are not yet known.
Wembanyama was ruled out of Sunday's game with the Sacramento Kings due to the calf strain after he went down in Friday's contest with the Golden State Warriors. He's averaged 26.2 points, 12.9 rebounds and 3.6 blocks per game this season while shooting better than 50% from the field.
