Ministers were reportedly suggesting amending a banking draft bill before approving it as Cabinet convened Friday in its third session to discuss the long-awaited bill that would distribute losses from the 2019 economic crisis.

Al-Jadeed reported Friday that many ministers would vote against the law, if amendments are not made, including Lebanese Forces, Hezbollah, Kataeb and independent ministers. The Progressive Socialist Party ministers would vote in favor of the law, the TV channel said.
