Following a meeting with President Joseph Aoun in Baabda on Monday, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier reassured that Berlin “will remain by Lebanon's side after the UNIFIL mission concludes."

"We support the Lebanese Army and want to rebuild everything that has been destroyed with the support of our friends,” he added, at a joint press conference with Aoun.
