The Israeli Army admitted Wednesday that a group of Israeli settlers had crossed, earlier this month, Israel's northern border into Lebanon's Maroun al-Ras.

The army said it was investigating the incident, adding that attempts to cross into Lebanon without coordination with the army would put the settlers' lives in danger.
