Israel's military said Wednesday its forces carried out ground operations and airstrikes in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.

United Nations officials have expressed concern about civilians in the area, with the U.N. humanitarian agency saying Tuesday an estimated 150,000 people fled Khan Younis following the latest round of Israeli evacuation orders.
