واصلت أسعار النفط التراجع لليوم الثالث على التوالي وهبطت بنحو واحد بالمئة اليوم الخميس بعد أن قالت قطر إن إيران والولايات المتحدة أحرزتا تقدما في محادثات غير مباشرة ركزت على مضيق هرمز الذي كان يمر عبره خُمس إمدادات العالم
من النفط قبل الحرب.
وقال متحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية القطرية في منشور على إكس إن المحادثات أسفرت عن “تقدم إيجابي” بشأن القضايا المتعلقة بمذكرة التفاهم الموقعة في إسلام اباد في حزيران.
ورغم ذلك، فإنه لم تظهر أي مؤشرات على أن الجانبين قد أحرزا تقدما نحو سلام دائم.
وهبطت العقود الآجلة لخام برنت 77 سنتا أو 1.1 في المئة إلى 70.80 دولاراً للبرميل، في حين تراجع خام غرب تكساس الوسيط الأميركي 84 سنتا أو 1.2 في المئة إلى 67.74 دولاراً للبرميل.
